Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 20, 2026
Plain-English summary: We only collect what we need to run Momentum for you. We don't sell your data. We don't use your lead conversations to train AI models. You can export or delete your account at any time. This is a first-draft privacy policy and should be reviewed by your own attorney before you rely on it in production.
0. Who we are
Momentum is operated by MLKMEDIA LLC (trading as "Momentum"). We act as the data controller for information collected through the Momentum service. You can reach us at privacy@momentum.app.
1. What we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account data: your name, email, business name, and password (stored hashed).
- Customer Data: the leads, conversations, tasks, screenshots, and notes you upload into Momentum.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, and error logs — to keep the product stable and improve it.
- Billing data: handled by our payments processor (Paddle). We never store your full card number.
2. How we use it
- To provide, maintain, and improve Momentum.
- To generate AI suggestions and lead insights on your behalf.
- To send you product, billing, and security emails.
- To detect abuse, fraud, and violations of our terms.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your Customer Data to train third-party AI models.
3. Who we share it with
We share data only with trusted service providers we need to run Momentum:
- Cloud infrastructure & database — for hosting your data securely.
- AI providers — to generate replies, summaries, and lead scores. Prompts contain Customer Data but are not retained by the provider for training.
- Payment processor (Paddle) — to handle billing and tax compliance.
- Analytics and error monitoring — to keep the product working.
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights and safety of Momentum users.
4. Data about your leads
Momentum stores information about the people you sell to (names, handles, message content). You are the "data controller" of that information — you decide what to upload and why. You must have the right under applicable law to import those conversations, and you must handle deletion requests from those individuals.
5. How we protect data
We use industry-standard measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted database storage, row-level security so coaches can only see their own data, hashed passwords, and access controls for our team. No system is 100% secure — we'll notify you promptly if we discover a breach affecting your data.
6. Retention
We keep your data as long as your account is active. If you cancel, we keep it for up to 30 days so you can reactivate or export, then permanently delete it. Billing records may be retained longer where required by tax law.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (GDPR, CCPA, or similar laws), you may have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your account and associated data.
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Opt out of marketing emails at any time.
Email privacy@momentum.app to exercise any of these rights.
8. Cookies
We use cookies and similar tech only for essential functions: keeping you signed in, remembering settings, and measuring basic product analytics. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
9. International users
Momentum is operated from the United States. If you use it from another country, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. By using Momentum, you consent to that transfer.
10. Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when things change. If the changes are material, we'll notify you by email or in the app before they take effect.
